Founder and Chief Executive Officer
As President and Chief Executive Officer, Sue is responsible for the overall strategic operations at Montlina, overseeing the short and long-term priorities that continue to build the Montlina brand and generate critical and sustainable growth, advocacy, and revenue goals for our clients. She leads the relationships with Montlina partners including Google, Squarespace, Salesforce, and others – the brands who have helped our clients reach their strategic goals.
In 2019, Sue launch Montlina, a public affairs agency working with purpose-driven brands focused on healthcare, education, philanthropy, sustainable development goals, and brands aiming to strengthen local, and mission-driven community coalitions.
Sue is passionate about grassroots advocacy, storytelling, and campaigns and currently serves as an advisor to multiple foundations, advocacy campaigns, and direct service organizations committed to empowering women, improving health systems, and ensuring all people have the opportunity to thrive.
She works with organizations – both large and small – to make informed, data-driven decisions to meet their goals. An expert in data analytics and communications, Sue proactively identifies trends and drivers of program effectiveness for modeling while developing salient methodologies and analyzing effectiveness for resource allocation.
To date, Sue has worked with more than 30 brands and campaigns including Electrify Africa, Poverty is Sexist, #VaccinesWork, Feed the Future, #EndtheEpidemics, CauseEngine, Desert AIDS Project, North County Philanthropy Council, and more. In 2016, Sue was celebrated with Bono in Glamour Magazine.
A native Chicagoan, Sue has lived throughout the country with her retired Marine spouse which brings a unique and intimate perspective to her strategic communications expertise in small and large markets. Sue received her bachelor of arts degree from Hawaii Pacific University and is currently enrolled at Purdue University working toward her master’s degree in Public Administration. She is a life-long fan of the Chicago Cubs. #GoCubsGo
